Associated Home Health selects Honeywell

BROOKFIELD, Wisconsin., March 21, 2007 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced that Associated Home Health, a home healthcare agency with 18 service centers throughout Florida, as well as Ohio and Pennsylvania, will implement the HomMed® Genesis monitoring system across locations. Mike Benjamin, president of HomMed, made the announcement today.

Genesis is a telehealth solution created specifically for the home healthcare market. At set times, the Genesis Monitor automatically engages to alert the patient that it is time to take their vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels. If the patient fails to respond, or if any of their information registers outside pre-set parameters, the system alerts the local healthcare agency monitoring the individual.

Glynis Wallace, Associated Home Health Administrator, will lead the implementation from the company’s Clearwater office. “Genesis Monitors will enhance the high level of care provided by our clinicians,” says Wallace. She adds that Associated Home Health believes patients benefit when they can recover in the comfort of their own home and Genesis supports that vision. “They will improve our efficiency while improving outcomes.”

The company projects telemonitors will be available for use by their patients within the next 30 days.
